The Big Party..:D
adapted from funny stories book
Mr. James Pointed, a rich CEO held a party with his fifty executives in his mansion. He really made the party smashing. In the swimming pool where the party went on. He yelled to the executives.
“You see folks, every business is started with courage. And I know that all of you have the courage. Today is the test. In this swimming pool I have three alligators they haven’t eaten for a week. If anybody dare to swim in this swimming pool and can escape from the alligators. I will give anything he wants, “said Mr. James Pointed.
All the executives started to laugh, and so did the CEO
“ I suppose nobody will take my offer, will they? That’s wise..we don’t jump ourselves into trouble. Do we? Very well..shall we see my art collection inside my house, “said Mr. James Pointed.
Before the CEO and the executives moved in to the house they heard a loud splash. They saw a man struggling from the alligators to escape. He struggles for about a quarter of an hour to make him free from the alligators. Finally, with blood all over his body he began to walk toward CEO.
“ You are the bravest man as well as the most reckless I’ve ever seen. Tell me what I can do for you, and what you want?“ said Mr. Pointed proudly.
Still struggling for the air He said, “ you can tell me who the hell had pushed me into the pool!!!!!!!!!!!..

Menjadi jawara Olimpiade Fisika di tingkat Asia rupanya tak otomatis bisa menikmati beasiswa untuk kuliah di perguruan tinggi terbaik di negeri ini. Pengalaman getir pada tahun lalu itu dialami Hendra Kwee, 30 tahun. Sebagai pembina di Yayasan Tim Olimpiade Fisika Indonesia (TOFI), ia bermaksud membantu anak asuhannya agar bisa mendapatkan beasiswa di Institut Teknologi Bandung.
Namun Hendra hanya bisa terbengong-bengong ketika seorang pejabat Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional meminta agar si pelajar itu kuliah dulu, baru kemudian mengajukan beasiswa. “Kemampuan anak-anak jenius ini sungguh tak dihargai,” kata doktor fisika dari College of William and Mary, Virginia, Amerika Serikat, itu saat ditemui di kantor Yayasan TOFI, Rabu lalu.
Ia tak habis mengerti, seorang peraih medali emas kompetisi pelajar tingkat Asia, yang sudah mengharumkan nama negara, harus berjuang sendiri untuk bisa kuliah di dalam negeri. Padahal universitas luar negeri mana pun, Hendra melanjutkan, akan menjamin seluruh biaya sejak murid itu mendaftar.
Apesnya lagi, penerima beasiswa di Tanah Air tak serta-merta bisa tenang. Ia ingat betul saat kuliah di ITB, 13 tahun lalu. “Teman saya yang menerima beasiswa harus berutang kanan-kiri karena pencairannya molor lima bulan,” katanya. Karena itu pula, Hendra ogah mengurus beasiswa untuk dirinya sendiri. Padahal ia adalah jawara olimpiade fisika pada 1996.
Entah berkaca pada pengalaman Hendra atau bukan, Winson Tanputraman, 17 tahun, pun lebih memilih kuliah di National University of Singapore (NUS) mulai Juni nanti. “Kampus itu menerima permohonan beasiswa saya,” kata peraih medali emas Olimpiade Fisika tingkat Asia di Thailand, 2009. Iming-iming dari Negeri Singa itu memang lebih menggoda. “Semua biaya kuliah dan hidup saya ditanggung mereka,” ujar bekas murid SMAK 1 Penabur Jakarta Barat itu.
Wakil Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Fasli Djalal menjelaskan, prosedur beasiswa di Tanah Air mungkin terkesan birokratis. Tapi hal itu dilakukan karena beasiswa merupakan uang negara, dan pemerintah tak mau kecolongan. Sebab, ada kalanya terjadi si penerima beasiswa ternyata kuliah di kampus lain, atau bahkan tidak mengikuti kuliah sementara uang telah digelontorkan. “Uang-uang itu harus bisa dipertanggungjawabkan,” katanya.
Alokasi dana beasiswa Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional tahun ini Rp 1,5 triliun untuk lebih dari 3 juta siswa dan mahasiswa kurang mampu. Kementerian juga telah menyiapkan Program Beasiswa Bidik Misi sebesar Rp 200 miliar untuk 20 ribu mahasiswa dari keluarga kurang mampu.
“Tidak ada biaya apa pun. Bebas pendaftaran, SPP, bebas biaya hidup, semuanya kami siapkan,” tutur Menteri Pendidikan M. Nuh kepada pers awal Januari lalu.
Ketua Yayasan TOFI Profesor Yohanes Surya mengaku geram terhadap oknum-oknum pemerintah yang menyepelekan pentingnya merawat para jenius muda kita. “Banyak oknum yang sok ngatur, tapi malah bikin kacau,” katanya.
Ia mengaku terpaksa turun takhta, tak lagi mencampuri keikutsertaan Indonesia di Olimpiade Fisika tingkat internasional tahun depan. Yohanes dipaksa hanya bisa mengikutkan anak didiknya di olimpiade tingkat Asia. Padahal selama ini fulus pemerintah tidak selalu mengalir untuk membuat murid-muridnya menjadi jawara. “Kami lebih banyak didanai sponsor,” ujarnya.
Fasli Djalal membantah pengabaian ini. Pemerintah, katanya, secara prinsip membuka tangan lebar-lebar untuk bekerja sama dengan orang semacam Yohanes Surya. Ada bantuan biaya berupa akomodasi sejak berangkat hingga mereka pulang ke Indonesia. “Kalau berangkat atas inisiatif sendiri, tidak kami bantu,” katanya.

Ketika Sang Mawar Putih berubah warna..
Mawar putih itupun akhirnya berubah warna, tidak tanggung2 lagi warnanya menjadi HITAM. Sang mawar sedang mengalami masalah masalah dalam hidupnya. Mulai dari masalah cinta yang mungkin tidak bisa mengembalikan dia menjadi seperti warna semula ditambah dengan masalah -masalah lainnya. Semua itu membuat dia layu yang lama kelamaan bisa membuatnya mati. Mati??? itu tidak menyelesaikan masalah buat sang Mawar, maka dari itu dia mencoba untuk bertahan dan mencoba pasrah yang akhirnya malah membuatnya berubah warna…”warna hitam”..akankah dia menjadi mawar putih kembali?? oww..owww…pity yuuu…
